Ball to the Wall

A friend is conducting his motorbike from Minnesota to the South Pole. After painstaking deliberation, I decided for the sake of education, as he is an educator of troubled youth, that he wouldn’t mind if you guys snuck a peak.

To the South Pole? How does that work?Awesome adventure regardless. Nice photos, too.

And he appears to be a master of packing lightly. That KLR 650 is barely loaded. Safe travels to him.

Well we don’t actually know how far he is going, but in the spirit of adventure, I’m hopeful…

For the verbally anal, the editors could change it to, ‘Minnesota toward the South Pole’, I don’t want to make waves here. Travel on.

That recent zone he’s in Southwest Mexico to the Guatemalan Highlands/Peten is territory I covered pretty throroughly myself once upon a time. This is very nostalgic for me This is great. Thanks for posting. This would be a fun geography/culture/language/adventure project for families/classes to follow his progress on the map/globe.
