   I think also for sale on Tower Avenue are: The Main Club, Tyomies and Shooters Saloon (which was briefly known in 2010 as Sideshow Live Music Venue, in case anyone barely remembers that).

   I don’t think Duluthians go to Superior to run the gauntlet like they used to. I know I don’t.

   Yes, but what I’m getting at is I think Duluth is retaining its boozers a lot better these days.

   Fifteen years ago it was easier to find fun on Tower Avenue than on Superior Street, but not any more.

     Interesting theory. Also, Superior is a college town with UWS right there but they never seem to leave campus.

   They leave campus but only frequent about four of the multiple bars. The rest are “uncool” by college student standards.

   It sure would save a lot in gas money and in time if Minnesota ever got rid of its blue laws.
