Love Lake Superior Artisan and Info Fair – Sunday, July 18
Over 25 local artists and info booths celebrating Lake Superior Day -3rd Sunday in July. Come shop. Come learn about the Lake. Come share your love of the lake via Open Mic- poetry, music, etc. Visit Tonya Borgeson’s WaterWorks exhibit at this event, too.
Love Lake Superior will be held 10 to 3 p.m. at the Coppertop Church, 230 E. Skyline Pkwy. Open Mic at 1 p.m. Sign up at event or contact wendyupnorth@yahoo.com for a slot ahead of time. Poets Cal Benson and Liz Minnette will do some of their poetry readings from 1 to 1:30.
Info and organization booths include Large Lake Observatory, WLSSD, Outdoor EdVenture, and Sierra Club.
