Lookin’ for good Photogs

I’m looking for a Duluth-area photographer that wants to go to the Dominican Republic around February 2012. I’m gettin’ hitched down there and need someone who’s willing to eat and drink all they want for a few days and snap some photos of my family, friends, myself and my beautiful wife-to-be. The only qualifications you need are to have experience in professional photography and to know how to keep up with some fun people that want to get down in paradise.  Comment to leave info to set up a meeting i.e. phone number, e-mail, website to your portfolio.

Here’s a link to a post from last fall about Duluth photographers. It won’t tell you which one would like to go to the Dominican Republic, but it might serve as an overview of who to ask.

Hi I would love to follow you on your marriage adventure. I have been a wedding photographer for many years and currently own a studio and shoot for a magazine. I love to travel as well — if you are interested, let’s talk details.

    !Hola!

I’m just a photo hobby-wanna be. But, I love to take pics – pretty much every single day! And people like my stuff, and…I have a valid/current passport, and am currently unemployed (so time off is not an issue) and I would gladly take pics with a 35MM film camera and my cheesy Kodak digital (vids too!) for a free trip and all the good stuff mentioned here. Heck I’ll buy some of those underwater dealies too! (Gotta love those candid underwater pics! heh heh)

No, I have no portfolio, but I am enthusiastic!
Heck, who wouldn’t be for a trip like this?

    Or…

Need someone to sit/walk/care for/with an older alone guest – such as grandma or grandpa? I was a nursing assistant for many years too, not to mention successfully raised two children. Babysitter for the kids at the beach all day? I’m there!

    I do have references.

Anyway, I couldn’t resist this post, but sincerely,
    Congrats and Best Wishes!

Sounds like a blast! Having had a destination wedding (in Hawaii) myself, I understand the importance of wanting a quality, professional photographer that will capture your most special day in paradise. Check out my portfolio and contact me if interested. Thanks!

I’ve never shot a wedding and haven’t a plan to do so. With that said, I’d hire Mr. Matt Stengl any day. Not just a good photographer. He’s fantastic. And quite personable.
