Kicked into action by Kerc’s post below, I offer up another Where in Duluth?, taken today. I don’t know who the kid is. I think he lives there.
The decking and the steel breakwall make me think harbor side of the Aerial Lift Bridge, like it’s an old deck section cast aside.
Good guess, but this is not remnants or ruins. It is part of something contemporary that I would guess 99 percent of Duluthians have seen.
Is the kid under the lift bridge? The grate above his head looks like the “road” surface that makes that cool zhhrooossh-ing noise when you drive over it.
He might be under the bridge next week, but not in this case.
Cute little fella. Looks like he’d rock harder than any local.
He’s into heavy metal.
Oh, all right. It’s that weird-looking wetlands restoration structure that’s been in the harbor for the last two years.
