Dave Hoops, master brewer at Duluth’s Fitger’s Brewhouse, was the interview subject today on Craft Conscious, a website that interviews craft beer experts, entrepreneurs and innovators.

Can anyone remember import night (mid-late ’80s) at Robin Hood at the Miller Hill Mall? I’ve got the T-shirt … No! seriously! … and the baseball cap and the engraved beer glass kept on the shelf for each time I returned to the tavern for a libation.
Apart from Robin Hood and Sir Ben’s, I knew of no other local boozers to get a decent beer. Even Schmidt on draught was hard to find in Duluth.
