Where in Duluth?
Mmm, smoking garlic. I hear it’s very medicinal.
As a side note, does anybody else walk around specifically looking for things to photograph for a “Where in Duluth?” post?

I do. I’m looking for something distinctive, and preferably big, that nobody will be able to guess. Given the galaxy of PDD eyes out there, I’m not sure this is possible.
I once thought of starting a “Where in the Northland?” category, so I could include Superior, but I got hung up with distaste on the word “Northland” and never did it.
Ramos – Please do! I think a lot of people on here spend a large amount of time/live in Superior.
Near the alcove.
There has been a Where in the Twin Ports? post as well as a Where is it? post, the answers to both of which were in Superior.
Wow, no serious guesses yet? (Bret-which alcove?) It is right downtown and I would have thought that surely somebody else has walked by it, although I don’t know how long it’s been up.
The one downtown by this sign.
It looks like tech center or hospital bricks. The garlic reference makes me think it’s near Luce.
I’ll guess the Sheraton.
It would be cute if it were outside Luce, but alas it is not. Not the Sheraton, either. It is to the west of both of them. I’m fairly certain there are no regular garlic-related activities in the building the sign is on.
Here is another clue: I’m wondering if maybe there are people reading this who know where it is, but don’t want to say because they’re worried about what people might think of them if they are familiar with this building.
plasma
Further west and up the hill a little bit.
CHUM Drop-in?
The Damiano Center on 4th?
City Hall?
Oh, and I hope the N64 is in reference to the painter’s favorite gaming system.
Jessige: you are very, very close.
County Courthouse? Federal Building?
So close! After you leave this building, you could use your food stamps to buy garlic, but you’d better not smoke it in the alcove.
Goldeneye on the N64 rawked. News Tribune building?
Government Services Building.
Yes, Paul wins. Geez, sorry to make this so random–it was in such an open, centrally located position I was sure that somebody else would have walked past it.
I’m starting to think that there needs to be some sort of handicap on WiD posts from now on.
