There used to be a guy who would work on cars just before/at this curve. He’d be under the car with his legs hanging out into the road, and it was pretty much the most terrifying thing ever.
As a kid, when my family would drive through Duluth on the way to the North Shore, we’d take Michigan Street to the Pickwick. The turn up to Superior Street was a lot easier then. Maybe everyone has the old turn in their head and can’t adapt to the new turn.
On or near an open field and/or sidewalk, near trees, somewhere within the general vicinity of Lake Superior.

Yep. Granted 1/2 those streak marks are probably from people driving home from R.T.’s or Carmody…
