Pretty kitties! It’s so posed it looks like someone took the cats to a Sears photo studio who told them how to stand.
Does anyone know if there were any pets in the Kozy when it burned? No wait, don’t tell me – I don’t want to know. 🙁
I noticed it was in your Flickr favorites when I was looking for it to post here yesterday. I got a little teary-eyed thinking I’d made “sjixxxy’s list.”
On Tuesday, Duluth Downtown Waterfront District Clean & Safe Team members rescued a kitten that was hiding under the hood of a vehicle parked in the Center Building Parking Garage on First Street. Initial speculation was the cat could be a missing pet of one of the fire victims from the Kozy fire.
Eyewitness News:
Kitten rescued in downtown parking garage
I saw one of the Clean and Safe guys this morning and they said they still hadn’t found the owner of “City Kitty” (the cat they found and think is from the Kozy).
One of the displaced residents was being interviewed and mentioned that he got one of his cats out and one was missing. I have no idea if these were his cats or not.
This picture is really amazing! The layers are fantastic.
Kozy Kozy Kozy Kozy Kozy … are we there yet?
These cats were often in this window every morning on my walk to work and one day I couldn’t help but stop and capture them, intent and rapt.

-2 I was told of. :/
Sad, wonder if these two kitties survived the fire. Great pic! They do look posed, don’t they?
I can say with absolute certainty that no LOLcats were harmed in the making of this photo. I hope they fared well in this week’s inferno.
I have a print of this photo somewhere.

Hopefully they do!
Oh, for sweet, I hope that City Kitty finds her family soon, the little precious is so cute.
And the cat’s in the Kozy with the silver spoon, Eric Ringsred and the man in the moon…

Very cool photo. How did you manage to get the reflection of the pawnbroker but not get your own reflection when you took it?
His reflection is there. There is a visible red hood just past the ‘S’ in pawnborokers.
I don’t like my reflection but it doesn’t detract from the photo so much that I don’t like it overall.
Ah, so it is. How did I miss that?
