Clouds Over Rice’s Point

Time-lapse video of clouds drifting over Rice’s Point in Duluth during a roughly one-hour period.

“Notice that each dies a swift death as it reaches Lake Superior,” the videographer notes on YouTube. “No convection, no cloud. That water is cold in May!”

A real beauty Paul. Would have liked to hear some audio along with it…Cloud Cult perhaps?

It’s sort of like a Dark Side / Oz thing. You have to go to Cloud Cult’s MySpace and synch up.

Very neato. At :31 a cloud begins to build over the Point, then quickly dies. Coolio.
