The River Talks: Why is the Water Green?
Hannah Nicklay and Addi Knoll speak about how Lake Superior National Estuarine Research Reserve staff members use sensors, lab tests and years of data to understand the estuary. The presentation offers a behind-the-scenes look at how estuary health is monitored and what changes have been discovered.
Participants may request an interpreter, materials in an alternative language or format, or other services to make this event more accessible, by contacting the reserve at least 20 days before the event. There’s no added cost for these services. The University of Wisconsin–Madison Division of Extension provides equal opportunities in employment and programming in compliance with state and federal law.
The River Talks is a free learning series hosted at the Lake Superior Estuarium.
