Starting Your Novel: A Workshop With Stacy Carlson

Minneapolis-based author Stacy Carlson offers advice on the topic of “Starting Your Novel” during this workshop. She is in Duluth promoting her new award-winning historical fiction novel, The Gyre.

The Gyre chronicles the trials and tribulations of Arkady Afanasyev, eager to be the northernmost holy man in the world. Set in a remote arctic archipelago, it is a place where the fragility of humanity meets the awesome power of nature.
