Torment – “I Am the Problem”
Torment‘s new music video features scenes from Amsoil Arena captured during the band’s performance at the 2025 Homegrown Music Festival. It was shot an edited by Lane Peterson of Rainfade Media.
The song “I Am the Problem” appears on the band’s most recent release, The Pain EP.
Rawkers shutout Rollers in 2025 Homegrown kickball
First-year Rollers coach Kaylee Matuszak did all she could to inspire her team, but her players rarely made it beyond second base in a 4-0 loss to Leon Rohrbaugh’s Rawkers in the Homegrown Kickball Classic. At least, that’s what happened if you believe the liberal media.
“Team Saturday Night takes it,” Matuszak wrote on Facebook shortly after the game. “If you hear we lost 4-0, that’s fake news and you cannot prove it and also I won’t speak to you without an attorney.” (more…)

Homegrown Music Festival 2024 Primer
Every year the Homegrown Music Festival publishes a Field Guide with all the intricate details of the eight-day extravaganza. And every year Perfect Duluth Day kicks out a little rundown of updates, sidebar details and notes about peripheral, unsanctioned or otherwise-related items of interest at party time. Rawkers crush Rollers in Homegrown Kickball Classic 2023
Rohrbaugh’s Rawkers piled on five runs in the seventh inning and four more in the eighth to easily top Vaagen’s Rollers 13-4 in the 2023 Homegrown Kickball Classic at Chester Bowl. The Rawkers now lead the overall series with 12 wins in 23 games. (more…)

Happy Homegrown! It’s day one and here’s what you need to know:
- The dress up theme today is “wear your old Homegrown shirts or a band merch shirt.”
- The children’s showcase is ON for 11:15-3pm at @dovetailcafeandmarketplace featuring a ventriloquist, one man band, monkey man, a high school pep band and more. Bring the whole family down!
- Every year there are scheduling changes. Always check the website for the most up to date schedule.
- It’s time to get your wristband! Our hard working volunteers are ready to take your money and give you the best piece of “jewelry” you’ll wear all week. We take cash and Venmo. If you don’t have Venmo, please hit up an ATM on the way over to a venue.
- If you see someone in a red Homegrown jacket, feel free to stop them and ask any questions. The Steering Committee members are ready to help you.
