Duluth Songs

Local music fans will recognize this tune as the inspiration for the Hoot Owls song “Scandinavian Hot Rod.”

Wanted to make sure this was logged if it hadn’t been.

I knew a lady who came from Duluth
She got bit by a dog with a rabid tooth
She went to her grave just a little too soon
And she flew away howling on the yellow moon”

We feel a little bit silly that we just found this tune this morning. “Perfect Duluth Day,” by Greg Tiburzi, recorded in 2011.
