FEMA Trailers by Two Harbors
Does anyone know anything about the FEMA trailers supposedly hanging out back in the woods a couple miles before you hit Two Harbors?
Help build the longest urban single-track trail in the United States
Cyclists of Gitchee Gumee Shores and Fitger’s Brewhouse are teaming up again to offer “Taps for Trails.”
For every $4 Duluth Traverse commemorative glass purchased at the Brewhouse, $2 will go to COGGS development of the Duluth Traverse Trail. Another $1 will be donated with every refill. A limited amount of glasses are available!!
This fundraising event runs May 19, 20, 21 and 22.
Early Bird Music at Chester Creek Cafe Saturday, February 26
Start your Saturday evening out At Sara’s Table/Chester Creek Cafe and get in on some fantastic acoustic folk sounds performed by John Martin from 6-8. Partake in Happy Hour drink and food specials from 4-7 pm. After that, head out on the town to enjoy the eclectic live music scene that only Duluth can offer!
Charities win when you vote Bob in!
Duluth charities and UMD can win up to $70,000 in this year’s Liberty Mutual Coach of the Year contest. Plus the alumni association that rallies the most votes will win an additional $10,000.
Bob Nielson is again in the running for NCAA Division II coach of the year, after nearly winning the title last season. Everyone can vote every day on their smart phone and each of their computers at coachoftheyear.com. Your vote could mean up to $80,000 for our community.
