Lake Superior Magazine 2021 Photo Contest Winners

Duluth’s Timothy J. Beaulier took first place in the Maritime category of Lake Superior Magazine‘s 26th Annual Photo Contest.

Duluth’s Dan Lee Vander Ark took second place in the Nature category for “Backyard Junco.” Numerous photos either shot in Duluth or by Duluth photographers were finalists or received honorable mention in various categories.

Galleries of all the winning photos and runners up can be seen on lakesuperior.com. The winners are featured in the magazine’s February/March issue.

The overall grand prize went to Sarah Smith of Madison Heights, Mich., who shot “Froggy’s Picture Day” at Wright Street Falls in Marquette.
