Vandalism, Art, or Insanity?

Taking advantage of the nice weather today, I went for a walk in Leif Erickson Park, where I found several of these “installations” for lack of a better word. If you can’t quite make it out, these are eggs stuffed into pantyhose and thrown up into a tree.

At first, I thought maybe these were plastic Easter eggs and maybe they contained clues or treasure maps inside of them. But no, upon further inspection, they were real eggs.

One pair of pantyhose contained not eggs, but cups of Yoplait yogurt. The cups appeared to be unopened.

So the questions I asked myself were: “Is this supposed to be vandalism? Is it supposed to be art? Or is this the by-product of insanity?”

If it’s art or vandalism, well, I don’t get it. So I guess I have to go with insanity. What do you think?
