Where near Duluth?
Came across this and couldn’t resist posting it. I’m going to be impressed if someone can locate this one, but I suppose it’s not out of the question. I am going to guess that the Duluth News Tribune doesn’t actually deliver to this one, though.
I’ll say Rice Lake Township to begin the zeroing in process.
You could certainly throw a rock from Rice Lake Township and come very close. Here is another image to offer some context.

SPY1, I don’t think that’s right. While this is on a road, vehicle is not how most people would access this spot.
Oh fine. This DNT tube is at the Lone Tree campsite on the Superior Hiking Trail on the section between Lismore and Normana roads. I recently hiked the trail from Duluth to Two Harbors, and I have to say I was really impressed with the quality of the trail and with the well maintained campgrounds. So, get out there and go for a hike.
