    Observation Hill?

Not Observation Hill. Here’s another angle.

The lake side of Minnesota Point, well past the airport.

From the willows and the cobbles you can tell it’s along one of the creeks, but I don’t know which one.

The Minnesota Point guess is a good one, but refers to the wrong shelter. Here’s the MN Point shelter.

Ethan Perry is on the right track with his observations.

Tischer Creek off St Andrews street down from the old Washburn school

No, but that sounds pretty specific so I’ll have to check it out.

Whoever made this shelter actually took the time to build a patio.

    And a walkway.

    Lester?

    No.

    Keene Creek?

    Merritt Creek somewhere by Northwoods?

  15. Ramos on May 9, 2017 at 1:47 pm

Both incorrect, though I did see a guy enjoying a bonfire at Keene the other day.

    Christine Dean guesses Miller Creek.

I hope my home doesn’t become a “Where in Duluth” subject. The idea of somebody poking around in my stuff kind of bothers me.

  18. Ramos on May 9, 2017 at 5:20 pm

It’s abandoned, Tim. Obviously, I would have poked around even if it wasn’t, but I wouldn’t have posted here.

Miller Creek is correct! This is above Lincoln Park, just past where the creek passes under the Piedmont/Trinity intersection.

In the past year or so, I have encountered many more homeless settlements in Duluth’s green space than ever before. Is the homeless population increasing?
