Horses and Nerds
Tonight, I am home from the opening of the new art by Patricia Canelake at the Red Herring. This follows a great Nerd Nite last night.
The Canelake opening was awesome.
I met the artist, and maybe just as cool, I met the owners of the horses she painted. A great show, supported Thursday night by a complex and rich community of art and horse lovers together.
Yesterday: Nerd Nite!
The talk about economics was fire and brimstone; the talk about the moon rockets was pathos and passion. I love the way Nerd Nite lets people express their loves.
Shoutout to Izakaya218 and her roaming popup ramen shop, who was also set up at the Herring last night! If you find her out and about, give it a try. So good.
