Permission was granted from Glensheen for this flyby. There were no Congdons getting dressed during the making of this video. Everyone can relax and enjoy life now.
Did anyone ask the ghosts of Glensheen? Maybe they were in the middle of changing their sheet and you caught them on video completely invisible for all the world to not see!
I like the National Park drone ban. We need to insure that the “experience” for the people visiting the National Parks and Monuments are not hindered by others. The flying of a UAV (drone, quadcopter, hexacopter) is loud and visually intrusive to others trying to take in the natural beauty of these areas. We are always aware of our surroundings when we take to the air for aerial filming and photography and are very conscientious of the people around us. The trouble is many inexperienced UAV operators do not operate with that same attitude. http://www.liftoffaerials.com
Another textbook example of how to fly a remote control aircraft in an unsafe manner.
Now I’m just disturbed by the idea of a drone flying up to my window and looking in at me like this one did at 2:45…

Funny you should mention that. Someone seemed to be interested in what we were doing.
Spooooo-kyyy.
What do you drone folk think of these new rules?
