In front of the General Mills building.

The high resolution and my frequent travel through the area help this guess: Granite Works on Commonwealth Ave?

It seemed too easy…I thought about not saying it and letting other people ponder it, but I had to win a Where in Duluth? for once. So, what’s my prize?

You’re lucky I’m giving you credit for the win, Tom, because, personally, I wouldn’t even say this monument is in front of General Mills, but on the side of it. It’s not visible from Railroad Street or Garfield Ave. Sean42’s answer is much more accurate, but you jumped in first, so I decided to follow my tolerant, forgiving nature and let you share in the glory.

Anyway, your prize is the bottom slab.

That’s Bob-Henge. Monument to/of Bob The Architectural Salvage King on Park Point.

Well, I knew it was along the outer wall of the building somewhere. I don’t know what’s generally considered the front of the building. I’d say maybe the Railroad Street side, because that’s most visible, but maybe the side facing the river is the front.

In any case, I’m off now to pick up my slab.

The entrance for General mills is off of Garfield between Bendtecs railroad street address and the RMS storage lot.
