Across the street from the Agate shop in Beaver Bay? There is a liquor store and bar there, but the name is escaping me.

You’re thinking of the Green Door Lounge, Pete, which is a good guess.

Geez, North Shore liquor stores are far and few between. But just for kicks, I’ll go with the tres-ironic Temperance Liquors.

B-man beat me to it. And thank you for cracking me up first thing in the morning. I needed a good laugh to start my day.

Good guesses. But all wrong. Hint: Further North.

Notice the crocodile upper left. That may, or may not, help.

    The Tofte market/liquor store?

  9. Cory Fechner on March 22, 2012 at 11:56 am

@mevans – Good guess, but even further North.

Last two options would be Grand Marais and Grand Portage. I’m going with Grand Marais.

Even with no clues from other posters, my first thought was Ryden’s at the border.

    Ding Ding Ding! Beverly Wins!

I also shot this of the High Falls on the Pigeon river. It is pretty nuts that all the rivers are already open.

I’m pretty sure this is blasphemy, but it would be cool if we had a “like” button…

There is a “like” button below the picture of the bear. So you can like this post in general, but not specifically the Pigeon River photo.

I’m still trying to figure out the crocodile clue…

  17. Cory Fechner on March 22, 2012 at 4:19 pm

That clue was a “crock” of shit..
It was just so random I thought I would bring it up..
