The Northern Lights were very active for a short period of time late last night at Glensheen! Not only were pillars of light and some colors visible to the naked eye within city limits (amidst the light pollution), but they were also pulsing and dancing in every direction. What an incredible sight on a beautiful night!

Last night and this morning, most of the country was able to witness a very powerful Northern Lights show. There were reports of even seeing the aurora in Hawaii!
I started my night off by driving inland before heading back to the shore and ultimately ending at Split Rock Lighthouse State Park. This was taken around 3:40 am. The corona was so colorful that the pinks and reds were visible to the naked eye.
