Oh man, I was tired BEFORE I went out last night. I’m straight up exhausted today! I was thinking of calling it a night at about 11:15 when it just blew up! Honestly it was the best display I’ve seen since the June 2015 display.

Last night, there was a great chance for aurora but with the clouds in the area I had accepted I would not see the show. But, after a few text messages with friends, I took a test shot at home and saw a green glow up the shore and thought it was by Palisade. If I got there and saw nothing I could go to bed. But the sky was alive!
I got set up and started clicking away. About 30 minutes in the sky just started dancing in the most vibrant colors. I could not believe I was the only one up on the cliff. It was once again another moment I will never forget.
