Plein Air: Painting and Chalk Drawing under Open Sky

I saw my friends Dana and Michelle yesterday, and they reminded me that this is one heckova week for art outdoors.

This is the week of Plein Air at the Duluth Art Institute. I regret missing the events at Glensheen and the Rose Garden, and I wonder whether anyone can tell me how it went. The show derived from this event opens tonight, with a final demonstration tomorrow.

Tomorrow, too, is Chalk-a-Lot in Two Harbors. Nationally-recognized Street Artist David Zinn will be there.

So will local fave Moira.

And Felton, of the Ridiculous Puppet Company, will be there.
